Purpose
| The project schedule drives the completion of tasks in a plan to ensure all required and optional activities are completed in a way that budget, time, resources and quality are satisfied based on plan. |

Description
| Main Description | A project schedule helps the team identify what tasks and activities must be accomplished. Eash activity is defined in a "verb - noun" format and has assigned at least one resource that is required to complete the task or activity. A duration or date is applied and the schedule is balanced against critical needs of the company, the business users, availability of resources, and funding to complete the work. A quality product is developed when the execution of the plan, the required deliverables and artifacts and the end-state system, process, or outcome has been achieved to the satisfaction of the key stakeholders. |
