The Implementation Plan contains a detailed listing of action items, sequence of execution, anticipated and actual timing of execution, responsible resource and dependencies for each item. If applicable, any site-specific implementation specifications are also included.

The Implementation Plan is required for all new development projects, and for maintenance releases with significant implementation requirements. The document will be attached, by the Release Manager, to the change request for review by the Technical Change Control Board (TCCB).

The major tasks involved in the implementation should be identified and listed on the Implementation Plan Template. Implementation Plan must be approved by the applicable Application Owner(s) and Technical owner(s), prior to submission to the Release Manager. The following details about each task on the plan must be provided:

  • Summary ID
  • Status
  • APP/SEQ
  • Activity/Function
  • Est Date/Time Begin
  • Est Date/Time Complete
  • Actual Completion Time
  • Resource Names
  • Dependency
