      Main Description
      Test Management Plan (TMP) is intended to outline all QA activities, the approach to testing, aid in achievement of project quality objectives, and provide visibility into testing activities throughout the project. TMP is subject to change and is updated with new information throughout the test cycle(s).
      Steps
      Project documents

      Collect and review the following project documentation:

      • BRD
      • Revised Development Effort Estimates
      • Project Charter
      • Risk Profile
      • Architecture Profile
      Develop the Test Management Plan
      Use the template to develop the plan. Refer the guidance on the template for additional help.
      Peer review the Test Management Plan
      Once the TMP is complete, conduct a peer review within QA. Update the plan accordingly as per the feedback.
      Distribute the Test Management Plan
      • Send the Test Management Plan via email for review.
      • Provide instructions for feedback.
      • Provide a cut-off date for review and signoff.
      Send Agreement
      Business Stakeholder to send email approval to QA Lead by cut-off date.
