Main Description

The Project Manager will submit a RequestIT request to notify the Production Support team of a project that will require the assignment of a Transition Services Lead to the project team. This also serves as a notification the project involves the implementation of a new or modification to an existing system that will require support once it is in production.

Steps

Logon to IT Service Management Suite.

Select RequestIT from the menu on the left.

Select IT Services by clicking on the checkbox.

Select Service Center Support Assessment by clicking on the checkbox.

Click on the Choose Options button.

Enter specific information about the project in the Notes Comments section. Include the project name, the system name if known, a brief description of the goal of the project, the purpose of the system and the anticipated go-live date.
