Main Description

The final phase of adding content to OpenUP. The Release Manager is notified of content availability once the content is moved to the production site and properly tested.

Steps

Move approved content to production site

Take the site offline to prevent users from accessing information.
FTP the approved content to OpenUP production site.
Bring the site online.

Conduct production testing

Ensure the transfer of content from develop or test into production was successful.

Communicate the availability to the Release Manager

Ensure the Release Manager is aware that content has been successfully moved to production and the content is available to consumers.
