A = Accountable
The person is accountable to ensure the work is accomplished or deliverable is produced. An accountable person may or may not perform the work, but is held accountable for the timely completion and for the quality of the effort.

C = Consulted
The person is consulted in the performance of a task or artifact and provides expert consulting to ensure the task is performed correctly or artifact developed with quality.

I = Informed
