      Main Description

      Prepare the Solution Architecture Document ensuring that the proposed solution is clearly and accurately described. Gather input from Information Security, Information Architecture, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Production Support, the Vendor(s) and any other party as necessary for the corresponding sections of the document.

      Notes: Can be executed iteratively in conjunction with: Review BRD, Participate in Requirements Sessions

      Download SAD template
      1. Create 0.1 version
      2. Save to project repository
      Hold stand up meetings with other Architects
      Prepare diagrams
      Conceptual, logical, and physical architecture, system interactions, sequence diagrams, etc..
      Review areas of architectural impact
      Identify standards and/or patterns
      Review with stakeholders to identify gaps, risks, constraints, and reusables
      Complete relevant portions of the SAD template
      (review existing SADs for reference)
      Incorporate design documents from other areas of architecture
      (Infrastructure, Information, Integration and Security)
      Review SAD with technology resources assigned to project
