Task: Facilitate Release Transition Meeting

A meeting to review the transition support plan.

Purpose

The purpose of the meeting is to ensure that all parties involved in, or impacted by, an implementation or release:

have reviewed and acceptied the transition support plan
understand their roles and responsibilities as Business Owner(s), Application Owner(s) and application supporter
establish and implement new SLA’s if required
acknowledge and take ownership of any new procedures
acknowledge and take ownership of modifications to existing procedures

Main Description

The Release Manager will schedule one or more meetings to discuss the project implementation and subsequent service transition to Business As Usual (BAU).

Collect Project Documents

Obtain a completed Implementation Plan, and Transition Support Plan.

Schedule Meeting

Identify all stakeholders and schedule meeting(s).

Post Meeting

Distribute meeting minutes.
